Features
Everything a ride needs, nothing in the way
The map fills the screen. Only what you need while moving sits on top, and everything else is a swipe away.
Auto-saved rides
Finish a ride and it lands in your logbook with a score, top speed, lean and elevation. Rides keep recording with the screen off.
Group rides
Create a ride, share the code, and see everyone's position, role and speed live. Quick calls like regroup and chai break are spoken on every phone.
Crash detection and SOS
A loud countdown you can cancel, then your emergency contacts get your location. There is a safe drill mode to rehearse it without sending anything.
Lean angle
Measured with the gyroscope, so it stays honest through a long corner, and your best left and right lean are logged for every ride.
Pothole alerts for the pack
During a group ride, the lead's hits warn the riders behind before they get there. Solo rides stay quiet, and old hazards never clutter a new ride.
A garage that knows your bike
Pick from the catalog (petrol and electric, with photos) or add your own picture. Service reminders adapt: no chain lube on a belt drive, a battery check on an EV.
Route planner
Fastest or twisty roads, alternatives side by side, weather along the way, and a fuel or charging stop check for your bike's range.
Private by default
Rides, bikes and photos stay on your phone. Your position leaves it only during a group ride or a live link you start. Export any ride as GPX, KML or CSV.

Up and running in three steps
RevCrank is shared directly as an app file, so Android will ask you to confirm a couple of things. It takes about a minute.

Open this page on your Android phone and tap Download. Wait until it says the file is ready.
Open the file
Tap RevCrank.apk in your notifications or Downloads. If asked, allow your browser to install unknown apps.
Install anyway
If Play Protect says the app is unrecognised, choose More details, then Install anyway. Then allow location, set to Allow all the time.
FAQ
Questions, answered
Why does Android warn me during install?
The app is shared directly instead of through the Play Store, so Android and Play Protect cannot recognise the publisher. That is expected for this build. Tap More details, then Install anyway.
Does it work without internet?
Yes for recording: your position, speed and lean are logged offline. Map tiles, route planning and group rides need a connection.
What does it share during a group ride?
Your name, bike, role, live position, speed and heading, plus messages and hazards, and only while you are in that ride. Emergency contacts and your medical details are never sent.
Will it drain my battery?
Recording uses GPS and motion sensors, as any ride tracker does. Keep the phone charging on long rides and exclude RevCrank from battery optimisation so it can run with the screen off.
Is crash detection a guarantee?
No. It is an aid that can fail or give false alarms. Always ride with proper gear, keep your emergency contacts up to date, and try the drill mode in Settings to see how it behaves.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. This preview is Android only (Android 7 or newer).
